What's the dress code?
We’re advocates for wearing whatever makes you feel your best. But generally, our attendees stick to business casual.
What do I need to bring?
Aside from yourself (and some meaningful questions), many Funders will bring their laptop and/or printed copies of Founder info provided in The Lounge.
Should I promote the event?
If you want to share that you’ll be joining us, we’d love for you to share on LinkedIn or by word-of-mouth.
When will I get my hotel confirmation?
Vanessa will be in touch throughout the first couple weeks of July regarding your hotel accommodations. We’ll reserve your room on your behalf and cover the cost* of your stay on August 5 and 6.
We do not cover the cost of your room if you arrive early on August 4.
How do I connect with Founders after the event?
We’ve got you covered! We know you’re very busy, so our job is to make the connections and ensure a smooth transition for all parties after the event.

Kick things off with a casual evening of conversation and connection. The Preview Mixer sets the tone for the week—bringing together Founders, Funders, and special guests in a relaxed setting before the pitch day intensity begins.

Funder-Only Dinner
Sponsored by Athene, this intimate dinner is designed for Funders to connect, compare notes, and align on what they’re looking for. This is where insights are shared, strategies are discussed, and the groundwork for collaboration begins.
10 PM-Midnight

Free Time & Regroup
Take a breather, explore the town, or spend time catching up on emails. This is a chance to recharge, reset, and come back ready to maximize the main event.

The heart of The Founder’s Chair experience. Founders present, Funders engage, and authentic conversations unfold in a curated, focused environment. Every presentation is an opportunity to spark investment, mentorship, or a strategic partnership.

Group Dinner
A lively, casual dinner with all attendees. Some of the next conversations happen here. It’s a chance to strengthen the relationships sparked throughout the event in a warm, collaborative atmosphere.
Head back to the hotel for a nightcap in the speakeasy from 10 PM to midnight.

The morning after, Funders gather privately to discuss impressions, share perspectives, and align on next steps. It’s a candid, collaborative session designed to turn ideas into action and ensure the right deals move forward.
